CLPCCD Updates - Coronavirus (COVID-19)
Message from the Chancellor
April 21, 2023
Dear CLPCCD Colleagues,
As our summer and fall registration period approaches, I want to remind you that at the February 21, 2023 board meeting, the Chabot-Las Positas Community College District (CLPCCD) Board of Trustees voted to suspend the COVID-19 vaccine mandate effective April 24, 2023. The change will apply to students and employees of the CLPCCD to coincide with the start of the upcoming registration period.
Our district will continue to monitor the community risk levels in our area and keep you apprised of any changes. The district’s policies were developed to allow for flexibility should a change in public health risk occur. This is a good time to review and update any information (both online and on printed materials) that may indicate our district has a COVID-19 vaccine mandate in place.
Students and prospective students are being made aware of this change to our policy. We will continue to maintain our COVID-19 information page where you can go to find relevant safety information. Thank you for your continued partnership.
