The Educational Services and Student Success (ESSS) Department
of the Chabot-Las Positas Community College District (CLPCCD)
provides district leadership on Academic Programs and Student Services.
This includes oversight of districtwide educational and student success planning, aligned resources to educational equity and student success, improvements through research and learning, accreditation, districtwide partnerships, and economic development initiatives.
ESSS provides leadership for District strategic planning efforts; coordinates linkages with centralized functions such as facilities, business services, human resources, public relations, and technology in order to continuously serve our diverse communities through educational excellence.
The District's Economic Development and Contract Education (EDCE) department directly reports to ESSS. Located at 5860 Owens Drive in Pleasanton, EDCE consists of six different focus areas that offer training, workforce development and financial services to people and organizations located throughout our local communities, region and state. EDCE has been working with both public and private sector organizations for over 30 years to provide a broad range of educational, consulting and fiscal-related support services with a reputation for high-quality services that are innovative, results-oriented and tailored to the specific needs and goals of our clients.
