Welcome to the Chabot-Las Positas Community College District's Facilities Planning, Maintenance & Operations department website.
The Facilities Planning, Management & Operations role is to oversee the colleges improvements to ensure compliance with the Campus Master Plan. We also manage advance planning for programming of Capital Projects and assist in space management. We assist in the preparation of budgets for short and long term planning of Capital Projects.
Other responsibilities include compliance to and updating the Campus Design Guidelines, providing guidance concerning circulation, landscaping, signage and all other site planning related issues. We work with the Chancellor's Office and other Divisions of the college. A coordinated effort is achieved resulting in a uniform design of the campus.
In order to provide the highest level of service to the campuses, the Facilities Department has scheduled staff to be on campus continuously from Monday morning through Friday afternoon.
